Position: X-Ray and Angioplasty Field engineer

Location of job: Will cover a radius of one hour from the city of Pittsburgh
Duration: Permanent
Compensation: Hourly rate 34-40/per + on call pay and OT … expected this person will earn 100k/yr after OT. Full benefits
Education/Experience: An associate's degree in either biomedical/electrical engineering technology and/or certification of a technical school program; or five years of related hospital imaging service experience or manufacturers service experience and/or demonstrates equivalent proficiencies.
Relocation available
No overnights

• Will perform repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
• Will work under general supervision and relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals.
• The incumbent must also possess the following: advanced knowledge of electronics, digital circuitry operations, and microprocessors; advanced knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, physics, chemistry, optics, pneumatics, hydraulics, hospital structure, and regulatory requirements (as applicable); and advanced computer skills.
• Previous training and/or experience servicing is highly desired.
