RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL:
Provides leadership to develop and support executive level business relationships to achieve profitable results. Develops and executes executive level selling strategies, targeting specific corporate customers. We are looking for long standing repeatable history of successful customer business development (new relationships). Knowledge and experience of working at the customer VP Level or higher. Involves delivering solutions to Government & Consumer clients. A seasoned understanding of the marketplace/industry, competitive and account information, and the ability to team with and influence partners to serve the clients.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES:
Primary role is to identify, qualify, pursue and win new opportunities. • Focusing on priority accounts, this individual conducts rigorous planning and opportunity identification and works with the management team to move opportunities through the sales cycle and to close new business.
1. Provides direct activity to secure strategically important accounts and opportunities. Develops and maintains executive level relationships. Targets corporate executive level clients to develop business and solutions.
2. Identifies specific accounts and opportunities as targets. Provides initiative oversight. Supports and teams with other sales resources to develop projects and opportunities.
3. Seeks out, targets and initiates contact with major prospective customers within assigned markets. Develops network of contacts. Qualifies and assesses targeted accounts.
4. Builds influential partnering relationships with the assigned accounts. Fully understands customer's objectives and business needs. Targets information and solutions based on customer's requirements.
5. Develops and manages strategically important relationships that further business development activity. Builds alliances that support business proposition; alliances that develop competency, brand, and secure work. Works closely with Marketing to monitor and analyze market trends and competitive issues within the facility outsourcing and energy businesses.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, MBA preferred. Ten years experience in consumer, government products, firearms or related industry. Demonstrated knowledge and breadth of industry. Candidates must have a successful track record developing relationships and closing new business.
