Client is hiring for talented web designer to help create a world class product.

As an early member of the team, you will have the chance to contribute along different dimensions, from conceptualization to research to implementation.

We're looking for someone who can contribute in multiple ways in helping us build a great product and a great company.

You will use your design aesthetic and sense to create an interactive and easy-to-use web application.

You will be using Photoshop, CSS and DHTML to design our website.

The ideal candidate should be familiar with the IE Box Model and have an innate balance of form and function.

You will be the advocate for the users; to understand and champion their needs.


Your responsibilities include:

Conceptualize, design and translate ideas and requirements into wireframes and mockups.

Apply strategic thinking and business goals to product design
Be the advocate for the users and user experience - understand and champion users' needs.

Applying user interface design skills when implementing features.

Responsible for the overall look and feel of our website.

Assist in the implementation of our front-end application templates with DHTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Support processes for gathering customer feedback & iterating prototypes.

Take on additional roles as needed to help us build a great company and product.

Requirements:

Strong design aesthetic and design sense.

Experience with user interaction design or visual design.

Excellent formal foundation skills (typography, color, layout, etc.).

Expert at Photoshop and Illustrator.

Solid understanding of CSS/HTML.

Understanding of user-centered design principles & methods.

Degree in HCI, interaction design, product design, industrial design, or graphic design or lots of related experience.

Excellent communications skills - verbal, written and, visual


The following are bonuses:

Degree in Computer Science or related field.

Experience creating web applications.

Experience coding in HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX.

Experience with conducting usability studies.
