Required Skills/Experience:
--UG design software to organize design projects and generate complex solid designs, and/or supervise the activities of a small to medium size group of designers in charge of major design projects.
--Execute complex design work in product components and assemblies in a solid/surface computer environment.
--Work is highly creative and offers wide latitude for independent judgment and perception.
--In-depth understanding of products and manufacturing operations.
--Knowledge of current trends in design technology production methods and materials.
--Proven capability in CAD for solid modeling, surfacing, assemblies and drafting.
--Ability to create and assist others with the creation of parametric solids and free form surfaces.
--Ability to apply, interprets, and teaches GD&T. Ability to analyze and evaluate tolerance stack-up.
--Utilize blueprints and other drawings and/or Unigraphics NX designs to create models according to established specifications
--Effective uses of Product Data Management file systems. High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others and lead people.
--Excellent oral and written communication, using electronic communication tools.
--Well-developed understanding of materials, components and engineering technology.
--High level of analytical skills to solve very complex problems.
--Capability to estimate design times.
--Ability to check the work of other designers
Required: Minimum 5 years experience using Unigraphics NX, 2-year Associates Degree in Technology, eExtensive training in computer aided design and descriptive geometry.
Desired Skills: Minimum 10 years experience using CAD, Unigraphics and/or model creation, In-depth understanding of Configuration Management concepts.
