BASIC FUNCTION:
This position is responsible for performing technical evaluations on enterprise products and packages, hardware solutions, security capability and other highly technical areas for an impartial view of a products technical capabilities; OO Design and deployment of highly technical architectural aspects of HCSC s Technology capability including hardware, software, APIs, common services, security, messaging, workflow, interoperability, flexibility, reliability, scalability and overall architectural structure and capability within the organization as defined by the Architect(s); design and develop code, guide, manage and coach the EAS team to develop and deploy architectural components and practices and ensure high quality components, object and/or common services; work with Enterprise and Technology Architects, Application Manager and Application Architect to help develop and deploy common services and highly technical components of an application if they are enterprise requirements; work with application team to develop a mentoring and coaching program to ensure application team creates solid components based on the leading edge practices development by EAS; help identify impacts of components on the enterprise architecture and application design to resolve cross group constraints or conflicts on the creation and deployment of enterprise components; and accountable for successful development of highly technical aspects of the enterprise architecture, improved performance and quality of enterprise applications and application development teams.
Job Requirements:
1) 2 years of J2EE design and development experience with a Bachelors Degree OR 3 years of J2EE design and development experience with a Technical Certification or College Courses OR 4 years J2EE design and development experience; 2) Experience developing, documenting, and communicating complex software designs; 3) Experience developing highly technical software components; 4) Experience programming to low level APIs at the operating system, middleware product, or driver level; 5) Experience configuring and installing development tools and implementing development environments; 6) Experience designing components that can be used by "business logic" developers; 7) Experience working independently and bringing issues to resolution.
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1) Experience with IBM Tivoli Identity Manager workflow configuration; 2) Experience with IBM Directory Integrator configuration and development; 3) Experience with IBM Websphere Studio Application Developer; 4)Experience with IBM Process Server; 5) Experience with other security automation solutions; 6) Experience in data and system integration.
