Cut, trim and style hair, based on customers' instructions, hair type and facial features, using clippers, scissors, trimmers and razors; Analyze clients' hair and other physical features to suggest hair styles; Bleach, dye, or tint hair, using applicator or brush; Operate cash registers to receive payments from customers; Shampoo, rinse, condition and dry hair and scalp; Keep work stations clean and sanitize tools such as scissors and combs; Provide other beauty services such as make-up and hair removal; Develop new styles and techniques; and other duties as may be assigned. Hourly wage is $10.50. Cosmetologist License (CA) and two years experience in related field required.
