The Boca Raton Resort & Club is recruiting for a Hair Stylist.
Provides professional hair care services, as per spa program and is involved in the operation of the spa and guest service. Maintain established resort and departmental policies, procedures, standards and objectives. Provide appropriate hair care treatment (color, cut, styling and chemical work) for each guest using current techniques. Provide professional hair care treatments in accordance to industry practices and consistent manner with the Spa. Provide all guests with consistent services for up to an 8-hour period. Recommend appropriate products for each service given and promote other spa services. Responsible for meeting monthly sales goals. Maintain daily care of all equipment used. Understand the Rio scheduling system, how to check t-notes, refresh screen, etc. Be available to work flexible hours and days including holidays and week ends. Dispose and stock linens according to Spa linen procedures. Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, workshops and meetings. Maintain current license and provide copy to management. Attend meetings as required. Participate in hair care training sessions as required. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested by supervisors/managers. To successfully fulfill this position, the candidate must have High School Diploma (minimum) and current Florida cosmetology license. Current certification from an approved cosmetology school. Qualified to perform all aspects of hair care using current techniques. Excellent human relations skills; be able to communicate with the general public in a courteous and professional manner. Good interpersonal and organizational skills. Must be flexible and adapt easily. Interested in health & wellness field. Must be able to sit, stand, stoop or bend for duration of shift [at least eight (8) hours]
