This is accomplished through the effective and ongoing training, development and motivation of dealership management and internet department personnel. The majority of time is spent in dealerships. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: oTrain, develop and motivate all Region/Market eCommerce management and internet department personnel oEnsure implementation of eCommerce standard operating processesoEnsure dealership management and internet department personnel are trained and effectively using available toolEnsure dealerships are properly using pricing rules and following Market eCommerce pricing guidelines oCoordinate the implementation of eCommerce marketing program working with the Region Marketing Director oEnsure implementation of best practice methods of online merchandising. (i.e. Pictures, Descriptions, Specials, etc.) oInteracts with Corporate eCommerce Marketing and Regional Marketing Directors to coordinate initiatives, facilitate communication and implementation of programs, and provide feedback on the effectiveness of such programs oIdentify and evaluate internet department personnel, performance and operational issues to management as needed oAssist in the identification and recruitment of eCommerce dealership management and internet department personnel as needed oGenerate and analyze Market/Region reports regarding eCommerce performance against targets and previous year.
