Technical Lead / Sr. Software Engineer – C# and .NET
Direct Hire opportunity in Beaverton, Oregon

Provide technical leadership during advancement of the product suite to meet the customers’ evolving business requirements.

Responsibilities:
• Develop new products and features using C#/.Net, SQL Server and other industry leading technologies.
• Provide technical leadership and direction, leading a team using agile development methodologies.
• Collaborate with Product Management to define product requirements and functional specifications.
• Design, implement, and test product software to meet department quality standards.
• Work collaboratively with QA Engineers through participation in the testing process.
• Provide clearly written documentation when required.
• Stay technically current in software technology through conferences, classes and self-study.

Requirements:
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or Software Engineering is preferred.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience in object-oriented design and C++, C# or similar programming languages/environments.
• Prior experience as a technical lead in a product focused software development team is required. Experience with Agile methodologies a plus.
• Experience developing multi-tiered business applications for commercial customers using .Net, C#, and SQL is strongly desired.
• Demonstrated technical expertise in one or more areas of state-of-the-art software development technology (e.g. .Net, SQL, XML, GUI design, etc) is r.
• Experience developing Web applications for a service oriented architecture is a plus.
• Practical experience developing easy to use software, with a dedication to quality.
• Good communications skills, excellent problem-solving ability, and a teamwork attitude.
• Applied understanding of Design Patterns, UML, and Architectural design a plus.

Additional Information:
• This is a lead position however candidate will be coding 75% of the time. They will be the lead for a team of 3 developers, 1 QA, 1 Tech Writer
• Candidates need to have experience or familiarity with SCRUM/AGILE Methodologies very important
• Candidates need to have 10 years of SW dev experience with 2 plus years of people lead experience, not lead on a piece of code
• Prefer to see candidates from other SW companies or at least have some experience working in Product Dev for SW company.
• Will be doing modifications and new development in C# .Net SQL Server Windows environment
• Needs career stability, needs to be articulate confident and have leadership skills.
